About the Engineering Team and Your impact

Abacum is seeking a Global IT Support to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs.  We are looking for an exceptional professional who has proven expertise in IT management procedures and solutions, who is highly organized, with multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

About the role

You will be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems and users, supervising the implementation and maintenance of the company's computing needs. Your proven expertise in IT management procedures and solutions will help us focus on providing value to our customers. You will be ensuring the systems are robust, well managed to minimize any downtime in productivity.

This role is perfect if you have

  • Autonomy → Be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Empathetic and humble → knows how to speak up with respect, capacity to compromise and how to commit in disagreement when needed
  • Proven working experience as a Service Help desk relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis of computer, phones hardware/software systems
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, VPNs, device management software
  • Firemen → be able to troubleshoot and help many users and their services in a fast growing and modern company.
  • Experience on the extra-mile → be able to integrate software and services: SSO, SAML2, OAUTH, GAPPS, LDAP, Active directories....
  • Compliance regulated environment → be able to implement with strict compliances in place to ensure are satisfied and automated

Tasks of Job

  • Manage information technology services, computer systems (win/mac/linux), and accessories.
  • Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
  • Manage IT providers and systems.
  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
  • Align with HR for on-boardings, off-boardings in a timely fashion (considering logistics in an hybrid environment)
  • Act in alignment with user needs and systems functionality
  • Identify problematic areas and bottlenecks. Implement and test strategic solutions in time
  • Inventory and audit systems.
  • Preserve assets and information security.
  • Selecting and purchasing new and replacement hardware and software ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Assure all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable compliances, laws and regulations
